AltroveD explores television as an early form of augmented reality: a device that has created worlds, distorted perceptions, and imposed narratives. In this sense, the work also becomes an act of resistance—rescuing these images from the flow and relocating them onto canvas becomes a way to confront them, to let them speak about us, in spite of us.

AltroveD esplora la televisione come una forma primitiva di realtà aumentata: uno strumento che ha creato mondi, deformato percezioni e imposto narrazioni. In questo senso, l’opera diventa anche un atto di resistenza: sottrarre queste immagini al flusso e ricollocarle su tela diventa un modo per affrontarle, per lasciarle parlare di noi, nonostante noi.
